I knew it was only a matter of time before WKYS did this.

Today's mixshow at 6:30 in the following order.
I highlighted the songs that are very Top-40ish/Rhythmic and are a stretch for an Urban station.

DJ Class - I'm The Ish f/Jermaine Dupri
LMFAO - Shots f/Lil Jon
Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling

Flo-Rida - Low f/T-Pain
Far East Movement - Like A G6
Usher - OMG f/will.i.am
Daft Punk - One More Time (this one shocked me)
Enur - Calabria f/Natasja
Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World)

Nina Sky - Move Ya Body
Pitbull - Culo f/Lil Jon
Major Lazer - Pon De Floor
Diddy-Dirty Money - A** On The Floor f/Swizz Beatz

@Martin Mac I prefer WPGC so my point of view is skewed WKYS sadly has pulled in front(just a little bit) of WPGC as far as ratings go. WKYS has several people who used to work at WPGC so of course people from there are listening if Micheal Saunders(OM/PD) and Big Tigger(MD) are smart they will go in a little deeper with the urban crossover. They just added another Bruno Mars joint "Gernande" to the play list i like the sound WPGC needs to seperate itself from WKYS as far as playlist they sounded too much a like. They just need to hang in there with it go a little deeper give it time to work "18 jams in a row" is good and the current money giveaway is also very good.

Martin Mac, I can explain it in two word: Jay Stevens. He is the one programming WKYS these days. Stevens was one of the 3 people that stirred the legendary WPGC shows why WKYS would imitate the former. Like donta1974 said, WPGC needs to differentiate themselves from WKYS by being the urban/rhythmic crossover station in the market that breaks the rhythmic crossover hits while remaining at the core "an urban".

Other things needs to be done to polish WPGC from the rest by getting back to dayparting its midday and slow jams playlists back towards the contemporary R&B with an UAC lean. They would have a fighting chance to get back to the market's top 10 and steal away quite a number of listeners from WHUR & WMMJ during those times of the day.
