I just wanted to say thanks to all my friends in radio who have been so nice to me here in East TN (and you know who you are). And while I will be off soon to my new position in Tarheel-land, I just wanted you to know I will never forget any of you and I hope to stay in touch with most of you. Until then, take care.

I'm headed to Fairmont...a fuhr piece from here...it's near Lumberton and Fayette-nam, and about an hour's drive from Myrtle Beach. Of course, my son's excited about it, what with the sun and the sand and the girls in the bikinis (of course, he put the emphasis on the last part). I'm excited about it, too, but I'm also saddened by having to leave all the friends I've made in the past 27 years in radio. But, from now on, I'm looking forward (sniff, sniff). Hasta la bye-bye.

You were a good guy to work with in TC. I'm also in NC now, in the
Triad. If you get over my way, let me know and we'll have a cold one.
