The TVtimes you find every week on National Post (Toronto), Vancouver Sun/Province, Montreal Gazette, Calgary Herald, Ottawa Citizen, etc. has morphed to a newspaper-style magazine! I liked the older TVtimes better! The new TVtimes features programs in blocks instead of just a LIST!
Edited by My_Humps on 11/01/05 02:58 PM.

It's been a real long time since I've read TVtimes. I usually use the EPG from Shaw or go online.
______________

I actually prefer grids. Makes it easier to see what is actually on at what time, and how long it is on.
______________

The original tv guide in National post was all grid.
I too, like the grid format better. Easier to see things quicker.
______________

The local newspaper in Fredericton went to a grid format 15 years ago. The idea is great (much easier to see what's on and how long a program is) but the grids are too small - lots of abbreviated show names.

The Moncton and Saint John papers now also use grids, but they're executed much better IMO.
