I Hate The Subliminal Radio Ads...

Wilmington Subaru. Lee Motors of Wellesley. 128 Volvo.

They all use WBZ-AM (im pretty sure) as their commercial producer, and they are all done in this scattered, subliminal messaging format.

I...I think I want to stab my earbuds whenever I hear those. Yeah, I remember the name of the companies who use it...so it is good with helping me remember the company names...however any company that would make me suffer for :30-1:00 of my life to listen to that...they aren't getting my business.

Usually I have something more constructive to say. But I wish I were deaf after hearing these commercials. That is all.<P ID="signature">______________

I think those ads are great especially 128 Volvo. "You mean you have onley 128 Volvos. If I buy one will you have 127?" The Production manager at WBZ is the voice behind them. Sort a Steve Sweeney type. His first name is Ed I believe but don't remember his last.
Those commercials are certainly better than the guy doing his own commercial for wet basements. He wants to make them "Useative" whatever that means. He also sounds like someone you would NEVER let in your house let alone your basement.

So, here's one fan for those WBZ spots.

His name is Michael Coleman.

There seem to be a couple client-voiced wet basement ads running on WBZ...Pioneer Basements and the one who's phone number is "busydog". Both are pretty bad, but none even come close to those completely unlistenable ads for Nina's Lighting. Ernie Boch's ones for his car dealerships are a close second with Linux Mortgage right up there too.

Busydog is the "useative" guy.... YUK,

Yes, of course, Mike Coleman. I enjoy his spots.
