i have a question about kday

If they did, you can bet the farm KHHT will pick it up. Why? KHHT is owned by Clear Channel whom owns Steve's Syndicator Premiere Radio Networks and CC PREFERS to run their own shows on their own stations.

That would be a good thing. Because Steve Harvey was a big time Morning radio personality back in the
day on 100.3 THE BEAT.
I believe that if he was on Hot 92.3, that station would do well in the Morning slot. But he'll have to be more
appealling to the Hispanic listerners. And stop talking to much black this and that.
He is indeed a funny person.

Right now, I do listen to the Cliff Winston/ Diana Steele program on V100 since Diana resurfaced back on the
show. I must admit. Their good together.

I think, if R-O makes an approach to reach a larger audience, such as Hispanics and Anglos. They could be
somewhat successful. Like back in the day slogan,no color lines.

The Slogan " No Color Lines " was Clear Channel , Not Radio One .

no that was radio one

No, it was Evergreen/AMFM.

92.3 The Beat the station reprezenting unity thru music and no color lines.

100.3 the Beat We are the Black station, screw Latinos, Whites and Asians

Bianco, your statement while out there probably isn't far fatched, but not specifically for racist reasons, as I stated in the V100 post it is likely that Hughes/Liggins had other intentions for 100.3 all along.

But back to KDAY, despite the push of Harvey, KDAY is under a share and it ain't just the signal, I'm wondering if it is Theo's programming, they tend to air a lotta 90s R&B and only give currents 35 spins at tops, I'm wondering if that strategy isn't turning off listenership, as we already do have 3 other stations that spin gold product that KDAY itself might spin. A 18-34 station like KDAY needs to spin currents 55-59 times tops and save the gold for a "old skool weekend".
