Sure, here's my response...posts like a roll call of stations that you worked at, a nostalgic post about the old days of a particular station (like WHIM), or a post like "this used to be a radio station" are all entertaining. Posts overanalyzing WSAR's every move, or checking back on Bruce Palmer's website every day, because he posted a line that says "coming soon", really aren't worth the time spent typing them. There MUST be other interesting things going on in this market...if not, why are so many people posting and reading this board ? BTW, how many people on this site actually are on the air (or have been at one time), or are in some other form of radio employment ?

All valid points, Mark--

The ones that monitor Bruce Palmer's every move, including irritating "itches" (my original post was edited-- I hope you were able to see it) were the ones that worked for B101 years and years ago...and even wore the BEE SUIT.....never got over that pinnacle career topper!

Most who post are wannabees...very few currently work "in the biz" and hide behind made up screennames....

I used to work for a station or ten, and still keep in touch with the players, but do not play any longer....just post every so often, hoping to get a rise out of one or two hacks....(Yes, I'll admit that...)

Mark, my compliments to you on your professionalism, setting a higher standard for the rest of us to live up to...

Just come out and say it is me about the Bee suit. I throw that out there to be a wise guy. A laugh. That is not the only thing I have done in radio. I too worked for WHIM.The real 99.3 WBLQ and WSAR doing oldies. I help Chris Dipaola out on the weekend in Westerly but as I have said to him, everyone around him,Steve Conti and Tom St John and a couple of other dudes I see here and there from WHJY. Being on the radio really does nothing for me now.I also clean toilets as a side gig and probably make more than a weekender at a station. So what.I just like talking about .

Ken Atkinson
Ken Richards on the air
or if you were a C.B.er in the 80's in the providence area "Kenny the kid" the one and only..........
