I have an idea for a new frequency for us Baby Boomer's...........

First off why is 107.1 not audible in Midtown? Are they off the air????

I would like to buy 102.1 in Athens, take 102.3 and 101.9 dark, enough Hispanic, and turn it in to WYOU, "U102" for baby boomer's only.

For question #1, maybe working on the new tower?

For question #2, I doubt they could do that.

Correct - you can't delete an allocation, so if you bought 102.3 and 101.9 and took them dark, all you'd do would be to create an opportunity for the FCC to re-auction those allocations to new licensees. Sorry.

If such moves was done you would would have to "move" the stations, away from Atlanta. I guess it would be a "Move out" (verses move in)!
