hearing strong carriers on 550, 590am, and I wonder if there will be future radio stations on the above frequenices, so if anyone happens to know, please post a reply. Thank you. Tom

Not anywhere near Wisconsin. There's a permit for a new station on 550 in Reno, Nevada but I think I can say with confidence you aren't hearing that one. Nothing at all on 590 anywhere in the U.S..

I think you're hearing spurious emissions from some non-transmitter device.
