I have to throw in the towel

With O&A's huge success on 92.3 in NYC, with only one month in the new book, its apparant they will enjoy the same here on 94.1. With this and the apparant changes to Sunny, its very doubtful these two stations will flip to Active Rock full time. I was wishing one of those would be the likely candidate. I have to be content with MMR, which seems to be improving, Jaxon is getting better, playing more tolerable music. The new liner at MMR is fantastic also, "Hey this is MMR is you want to order Rock speak English" a good take on Joe Vento. The House of Hair is a great show, I just wish Pierre could be cut down to a 4 hour shift, 10 to 2, why his show is 5 hours is beyond me. So to all the Rockers in this Urban loving town, stick with MMR or they will go by the wayside like everything else...Amen!!!

I thought I heard them say, "Hey this is MMR if you want to order speak ROCK!"

But yeah, whoever thought of that was very clever.

I think you have the correct liner LOL, MMR was always a loyal supporter of the Philadelphia Police Department and True American values. When Milkman was there, he would not allow any Rage Against the Machine music on the air, due to their support of Mummia. When Audio Slave first debuted he asked permission from the FOP if MMR could play their music, X-Rage members were in the band, they told him it was a go. I wonder if that bond with Milkman still holds true today, I do not hear any Rage on MMR. But like I said, they are sounding better, pulling out many classic/hard cuts, they are trying to fill the void, and I give them credit. I just hink Milkman was a better force than Wilson, he took chances with new music and older Metal tunes. If Pierre would just stop talking so much and concentrate on the music things would be so much better.,
I think we can survive with only one Rock outlet, because America wants us to be taken away from our roots.

my towel got "thrown in" , when mmr did away (again) with rock.n.roll roots in the late 90's ... i thought it was great with both rod carson in the late 70's , as well as earl in the late 90's
