Word is Radio Lobo will simulcast on 106.7 and The Range has a New Morning Ranger Starting Friday. Thats the Rumour on da street.

Last Night I saw two TV Spots for The Range during the CMA Awards, I am guessing they are staying with it.

Under the Hutton regime..I wouldn't dismiss the idea.
Under current guidance..it is questionable.
Advertiser adversity to the format, current political and decency standards being what they are, seems risky. KKSs has cleaned up the music and banter.
But trying to take down KKSS with hard core rap(if they chose to do that style) would result in share losses for KKSS and mild success for AGM..then what?
(disclaimer) in my humble opinion.
 
I agree, I most recently heard that the word in the building is that they have "considered" signing on a AC type/Hot AC hybrid switching Lobo to the Range's Frequency and disposing of the Range. I wouldn't bet on it because I am not sure how accurate the info is, just something I heard.

So Far what I have heard is coming to light. I hear Lobo by January 1 will be switched to 106.7 with a new format on 97.7 hiting the air January 1 See NMBA.org where AGM has a post looking for a PD for a New station.
Now will the New Format be "Fresh" to the Market in an attempt to Make a Magical move in the city.
 
OOooooohhhh, the plot thickens!! Perhaps a "Power"-ful meeting took place, where "Alice" took a "Mega" stance against "Jack"!! Yeah, that's it!! I heard the meeting got real "Wild"!! She pulled out her "Fox", and told him he wasn't a "Star"!! He insulted her by saying she didn't have "The Beat" in her soul, and that she wasn't "Kool"! Well...that sure stopped "The Party". Radio Lobo is simulcasting on 97.7 and 106.7 announcing the switch to 106.7, so it's adios to La Ley. The chickens have left the coop.
