I don't remember which song now but when I switched from iHeart's Mix 99.5 Greensboro either because of a bad song or commercials, I switched to Charlotte's K-104.7 which is not iHeart, and I still heard the same song that had just finished. It had to be a coincidence because iHeart has a Charlotte station.

But it does seem to be true that if you can listen to multiple iHeart stations, they will be playing the same songs at about the same time.
