I like that- Richard Vission

Sounds good... not sure if other stations have it on regular rotation, but KIIS-FM does.

I don't listen to KTFM as much as I used too but apparently they have on rotation. Also, glad to hear 97.1 Amp Radio and KIIS FM have it on rotation.

I could be wrong but it doesn't appear that many stations are playing it. ???

I don't think that many stations are playing it, but The Baka Boyz do use it in their Baka Boyz Allstar Hit Mix, so I guess it's considered a hit. There are more hit music / rhythmic stations playing Far East Movement than there are stations playing "I Like That", but I never once heard Far East Movement in the Allstar Hitmix. Far East Movement's first official single "girls on the dance floor" seemed to be a west coast thing, with only California, Arizona, and Nevada stations (mainly) playing it (kind of like "we run L.A." by Ya Boy). Now FarEast Movement's latest single "like a G6" seems to be having more success.. I guess Richard Vission could turn out to have the same pattern of success - if he releases more singles that could gain more acceptance in the future. Either that, or maybe "I Like That" may be a slow riser.

It's 3 min of fun. We've played it on Mega 800+ times, still it's still a power.

Actually, it is old as Perry said and for Mainstream America the record could very well be over already. They made a big push for it a couple of weeks ago, got some high profile adds but I haven't heard much going on at CHR after that.

For dance stations there are way too many records with Luciana as the guest vocalist now but this one is the best of the "recent" crop.

With the major labels, it's all or nothing at CHR. If a record stalls, it's over. At a dance label, they can afford to push the project for months at a time without any movement.

I first found out about the record right before WMC this year and loved it. Played it a ton on my station.

Ironically, KPWR, Vission's employer in Los Angeles, has also played it in its mixes, too.

I was wrong on this one. Was just told that it got a bunch of CHR adds this week. I guess you never know...

Were you wrong or was it monkey see, monkey do? I think the song is just ehhhh. I don't hate it, but wouldn't buy it either.

That means great marketing and promotional support.

Look for this track to land on more radio stations in the coming weeks. Curious to see if it will have similar success to La Roux-Bulletproof.

Also look for a bunch of pop rock and alternative sounding hits to hit your local top 40's soon.
There's a reason I say this... but it's still a bit too early to start my conspiracy theories on this in the dance section right now.

I'll just say it's been a while since a lot of that sound has been in mainstream top 40 charts. Now I see a bunch of it due to be released. Hmmmm....

A new wave of pop rock alternative may be due to hit in 2011 ;D

I was not aware of this track...I gave it a spin at the club I spin at last night..people liked it..I'm sure Q102 or Wired 96.5 will pick this one up here in Philly...

This is getting some somewhat popular attention in L.A.
I hear it more here than I do in Phoenix. KAMP has it in regular rotation. Yet I haven't heard any of the underground dance mixshows play it though. ???

That's funny! You say it's on mainstream radio and wonder why no underground mixshows are playing it... could it be that it's no longer 'underground'?
