I was listening to B98.5 FM earlier, Kelly McCoy was playing Michael Jackson "The Way You Make Me Feel" and I thought to myself, why B98.5 makes me feel ..... GREAT! That song was from the 80s, then Kelly played a song from the 90s, and one from now.
 
HE is not playing anything, he has NO CHOICE in what they play, if he did, I am SURE the station would sound better.
 
Soon to be happy Monday everybody! Monday morning on B98.5 FM following the Vikki and Kelly show, the airways will be alive with the sound of 80s, 90s, and now.

Caller 10, what's your point? You're bitter about the radio station, or angry at Kelly McCoy? Either way, it's a losing strategy. First, the station has been successful for what...30+ years? So, your comment won't make a difference. Certainly not in the ratings.

Second, Kelly McCoy has served that station well for 25+ years and is a total class act. So if your angst is directed his way, nice try. The guy is spotless, and deserves an award for kicking butt as a consummate format jock.

So, back to the beginning: what happened to you, bud? You weren't hired as a board op?

Caller10 had a very enjoyable run in radio, and has gone on to great success in IT. And it is true, I said I was going to retire the B98.5 parody threads after the flip from the soft rock/98 @ 9 era, which I have failed to do. Being busy with career, the lack of new material in this "80s, 90s, and now" phrase, plus the fact that I plain don't listen much to terrestrial radio anymore, has admittedly led to some pretty lame content from yours truly recently. So I will once again retreat on the B98.5 FM content, and I apologize for any misunderstandings it may have caused.

For the record the opening post of this thread was directed primarily at current B98.5 formatics/positioning "That song was from the 80s, then Kelly played a song from the 90s, and one from now" and not directed directly at Kelly McCoy himself. My grammar rules aren't the greatest, but I think that makes Kelly the indirect object in the sentence. And I used Kelly in this instance just to be balanced since I've written way too much material at Jordan Graye's expense. So CK can you please pass that on to DP? Thanks bud.

Kelly McCoy, apparently - unless Caller10 works for B - and he's not gonna get B any more listeners by boasting about how they play 80s, 90s, and today on this message board :-\

BTW how do they classify songs from, say, 2002 - they're not 80s, they're not 90s, and they're not today...
