I-Man Gets Some Writeup & Review

Loved listening to the I-Man talking about on his show Friday. Of course, he dissed the writer. But in truth he was loving every minute of it. He has the number three morning show in NYC now, something he has not had in years, behind only WINS and one of the urban stations. And revenue is sky high.

Not a bad come-back.
 
glad to hear the i-man is doing well - but that comedian, tony - he is boring! he can go.
 
Now if only Imus can work his magic and get Citadel's stock price out of the toilet, Farid & Judy would be thrilled.

Is a 105,000 cume in the nation's number one media market really that big to be #3 at 5.6? Does this include Long Island and Sussex-Union?

Daily or weekly? What demo? The 12+ quoted means nothing but a beauty contest, we hear. If the station cumes over a million-plus a week as reported previously and Imus is a percentage of that (10% of the cume,) then where does that put Rush, Hannity, Levin, Grant and Ingraham on a station with a flat 3.3 share? (12+)

Is this unusable PPM or diary? And if that's good enough for #3 out of 15-million population ... where's the rest of the market going?
 
Oaktree, I believe the 105,000 number would have to be average persons, not a cume figure. If I-man only has a cume of 105K then it's time for a rope and a rafter.
