now that I have your attentionI have been out of WROC and Rochester for a couple of years now, and it is sad to think of what has happened since I left. I only shook hands with Lee once (the swelling went down after a couple of days, but the skin lesions persist), it was a delightful meeting as I knew I would never work for the "man". Yes Rachel can be difficult to work with, but so can Dave, Steve, Kevin, Mo, Mellisa, and Cathy, etc.... Maybe it was me that was the difficult one. :

Anyway, they are still the best group of reporters I have ever worked with. Dave is the best story teller around, a true word smith, and one of the most connected reporters in the market. Rachel has to be the reporter I had the most fun with, and she will report circles around the competition. Her balls are so big they make Kucko blush. Kevin is a true gentleman, proffesional and funny, a great guy in every way (happy St. Patricks Day Kev). Mo... she loves the town she reports in, cares about her community, and is one of the the most honest women I have ever met. Just don't sneak up on her. Scotty (is Ameila still calling?) If you are ever looking to leave, look in Portland, it is your kind of town, and you would be a perfect fit for the news room I work in now. I guess my point is that there were and are a lot of great people at 201 Humboldt St and it is too bad that their mis-management has hog tied and gagged (Soby?) them into being the ugly duckiling of the Rochester Market. News is no longer news once your main concern is the stock holders and not the viewers. Anyway... I miss you all, and I wish you the very best.
