I need help identifying/finding song

I am looking for a ambient/dance version of Romeo and Juliet that came out around 1990/1991. I thought at first that it was a remix of Malcolm McLaren's version, but I guess I was wrong. I've done a ton of searches for the past couple of years, but have come up with nothing. Does anyone have a clue as to who the artist may be?

I don't know if this would be considered a "dance" version, but are you perhaps referring to a remix of the version from Stacy Earl? The regular version can be viewed at:

The other song I remember from Stacy Earl (which I personally liked better) was "Love Me All Up" --

The version I am thinking of was actually the theme from Romeo and Juliet. It was more like an instrumental version, and the only lyrics were a guy saying "deep, deeper love" a couple of times. I have searched for it forever, and I thought it would be one of the versions mixed by Alexx Antaeus (Malcolm McLaren's version), but I've only listened to the After Hours Gregorian Chant Mix, and that wasn't it. This song has been in my head since '91, and I know it was a rare version and hard to find. The Malcolm McLaren remixes are also hard to find.

Maybe only available on the sndtk...like the 2 different versions of "Female of the Species" by Space...the radio(& video) edit (which imho is the better of the 2), and the version on the Austin Powers sndtk.

It definitely was not on a soundtrack. I knew someone who had a copy of it on vinyl, but it has been a long time.

I am extremely saddened to say that I just found out that my former great friend and partner who turned me on to this song had passed away a little over a year ago from a drowning accident (we had lost touch with each other over the past couple of years). If someone has any clue as to how to find this song, it would be greatly appreciated - it means more now. Thanks.
