I need some help in need of blank minidisc's

Hi all. I have a couple of show's to tape coming up in two months. as I shop at the big chain electronics stores like Best Buy and Curcuit City. as I found out quick , they do not sell them anymore. has anyone on here have a good source where I can get some quickly.I guess this medium is dead like the ole cassette and the betamax. thanks an advance..

I bought a package at Wal Mart not too long ago. 5 discs for like $2.50 :)

I was surprised to find not 1 but 2 5 Packs of Sony 80 minutes at our local Best Buy, but like Jeff L said above, www.minidisco.com is a good spot plus sometimes free shipping too. They're the only place at all I could find empty mini disc cases also. nightfly

Hi all, here's a update.as I was taking care of renewing my drivers license at the dmv,
I decided to take a ride the long way home,So I stop at the Circuit City in the next town over to see if they have any Minidisc's in stock for the heck of it.
before I have to order them online from www.minidisco.com will as I was browsing the
audio equipment dept I came across a goldmine of sony 5 packs for $8.99 each so I stock up on two for now.since my shows are in a few weeks, I was starting to worry about waiting at the mailbox for my shipment to arrive on time. Will what load of crap at the other Curcuit City salesperson was throwing at me."We do not sell them here anymore" Yeah bud I think it's time to get out of the sales business and go to McDonalds to flip some Big Macs. a Thanks again for all the help for finding store that still sell them, I will put www.minidisco.com and www.polylinecorp.com in my bookmarks. Thanks Again..

I run into the same problem with simple salespeople when searching for m.ds. Lots of times they don't even know what they are. "Do you mean floppy discs?" they ask, or "mini dvds?" I usually just give a quick no & take off, but sometimes can't resist at least pointing out "Well you sell the hand held recorder, I just thought you might actually sell the discs that go IN IT". The home units are MUCH better than the little portables since the batteries always die too fast & recording is tricky. I found a dual Gemini rack mount studio grade m.d player/recorder with pitch control & all ($1500) (still on my wish list).
Regarding mini discs btw, I think they should make bigger labels for the case. Too much space for too little writing! :)
