I need used remote equipment -anyone have some for sale

A friend of mine is looking for some equipment to do sports broadcasts. I'm hoping that some of you may have upgraded to some digital equipment and have some analog stuff you are trying to get rid of.

He is basically looking for a way to broadcast sporting events over the internet.

I don't even know exactly what he would need, or how much it may cost. Any suggestions? Anything for sale?

Randy.

A microphone, a laptop, and wireless internet of some form would do. Install Shoutcast or Windows Media Encoder on the computer.

That's all you really need for a web-only broadcast.

I never realized it was that simple but i guess I didn't think about it too much. Makes sense I guess. We need a few inputs (probably 2 mics and a line in) so a small mixer I think is all we need. I should be able to find one for cheap.

One more question; Is there a good forum for buying and selling broadcast equipment. We will still need one or 2 headset mics.

Randy.
