What does the D+Z show sound like? What do they do on the air, etc? Since I've been in Memphis I have only been able to listen to 2(with the peppering of another 1-3) morning shows Monday-Friday. I have only heard one show of D+Z but that was back when they did afternoons...
I see alot of people bash them on the boards here, but when I am on the street I hear positive things.
Just a question.
btw: Saw C. C. DeVille(sp?) jogging down Union Tuesday afternoon in a sleeveless T, track pants, and holding 5lb weights in each hand. Give it Hell! Too funny.

D&Z relies heavily on the listeners for most of their show - instead of reading just a few emails on air between regular bits like they did on 103, they now read emails the entire show and (gasp!) take phone calls from the peons, A.K.A. their listeners, something they refused to do at 103.

I dunno, I've never been a big fan of their superior attitude and the "thank you sir, may I have another?" mentality their show seems to push. But at least it was easier to swallow at the end of the day after your day has hit the crapper and you're ready for that cold one... they're just too surly and ill-tempered first thing in the morning for me.
