I picked up WVEK, not WRZK

I stayed at the same motel for the ninth year.

I don't remember how many years I've been picking up WRZK. This is interesting because it's not a strong station and yet none of the Tri-Cities stations have a signal as strong in that motel.

Well, this year I had a different room and even WRZK wasn't listenable. I could sort of hear it a couple of times. The strongest signal I received from a Tri-Cities station came from ... WVEK! I never heard it before. Not once.

I was in room 1 last year, the closest room to the office, but no new stations and WRZK still sounded clear. I was in room 3 and this happens.

So you complained to the hotel?
What's that supposed to mean?

It's quite unusual I was picking up either of these stations. WQUT may have had a listenable signal but I'm not sure because I never listened long enough to hear that it wasn't WROQ.

WXBQ and WTFM hardly even registered.

The station I really wanted no longer exists.
