I remember the scene but not the title...

Last night I watched three made for TV movies from the 70's..

*Bad Ronald ( 1974 )
*Maybe I'll Come Home In the Spring ( 1971 ) with Sally Field
*The Curse of The Black Widow ( 1977 ) with Patty Duke

Watching them reminded me of all of those made for TV movies that were so popular in the 70s and early 80's. Thing is I can recall many of scenes in them BUT not the title of the movie where that came from. Examples..

*a young boy is asked to climb a truck to grab a tarantula only to ( of course ) gets bitten and ends up dying. The next scene shows the corpse of the child on a table. ( circa 1977 )

* a movie about teenage hookers. The scene I remember was of a older man kissing the neck of a young girl and then he begins to go down the girls neck onto her back while the camera then shows the close up of the girl's face then she starts to cry. ( again around 1977 ).

*a young girl gets involved with child porn. One scene I can recall is where she and her puppy were riding their bike only to end up running into the pervert. The pervert warns her not to "tell anyone" because the public will believe that the man is "sick" and she "a whore". ( 1979 )

*a hippy on a motorcycle gets involved in an accident only to be rescued by a Waltons type family. I believe the character's name was "Mark J. Reynolds". For some reason I had believed that the song "Seasons In The Sun" by Terry Jacks was involved with this movie but Google searched turned up nothing. ( circa 1974 ).

I also seem to recall some thriller involving a group of people high above the mountians in a ski lift as well as another movie where a massive tidal wave destroys..Baltimore ! !

..wish i can remember the titles of these movies.

Thanks BUT that isn't it. Archive.org has this on their their site and I had seen it last year. It wasn't it. I do have to check out "Little Ladies Of The Night"? though.

Of course, it's only a movie and the spider is being used for a chill effect, but in real life, you have a better chance of winning your state's lottery than being bitten by a tarantula. They're mild-mannered, unless you're a small insect. It is perfectly legal in most states to go to a pet shop and buy a tarantula.

I believe that you're thinking of 1974's Skyway to Death, which I remembered only because John Astin, ex-husband of Patty Duke, is in a featured role.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072177/

BTW, John Astin is now living in Baltimore. He's a visiting professor at an area college.

The destruction of Baltimore is a longtime fantasy of many. ::)
