I returned from Lima, Peru this morning,

and ma and my wife got into the shared van we use a lot to go back and forth from the airport. I glanced at the radio as I always do and noticed it was an aftermarket radio, looked closer and noticed that it was a JVC HD radio. I asked the driver about it and he said his boss got a really good deal on a bunch of them and had them put into the vans. I don't think he had any idea it was HD and his boss probably didn't either. He had on WZLX 100.7 which came in fine with no drop outs, I asked him to change it to WSRS 96.1 a Worcester station (we were about 40 miles away at this point) It too came in with no dropouts and sounded pretty good. He was a pretty amiable fellow so I asked him to put on WBZ 1030 as I wanted to hear the weather, he did and this also came in fine in HD with no drop outs, I then asked him to out on WTAG 580 Paxton, as we were still probably 35-40 miles from the station, he did and amazingly enough it came in clear also with no drop outs, now this is a 5KW station. I actually contemplated buying one for my car as it seemed to work great like some people hear have said all along. Man! I then woke up and found I was still on the plane and have sworn to never eat Peruvian food again before I fly. What a nightmare that was.
