I sent an email to dale schaefer at mainline asking him about certain stations

I suggested they flip lrs to all christmas and then jan 1 flip to a new format he replied saying we will be rocking thru out the holiday season and he added we got lots of positive response how much people like this station.The music is fine but listening to a jockless station meaning no jocks no voicetracking no nothing in my opinion is like cereal without milk cold weather without snow batman without robin clark kent without lois lane gilmore girls without lorelia burger king with out the whopper mcdonalds without the big mac. Louisville without mayor jerry or terry meiners.

Now i am not nieve to think he would tell me if they are gonna flip it but he did say they would rock throughout the holiday season.

"Certain stations"? I only see you talking about one of them. Which other "certain stations" did you ask Dale about?

Did you ask Dale why Main Line spent so much time and money on research, advertising and staffing just to pull the plug in the first month of the fall book??? Seems like there is something else at work here.....
 
On a related note rocky knight returns to radio monday dec 1. He is promoting it on his website but he does not say where just yet i wonder where he will end up hmmm???

I bet he ends up at q1031 todays new country and hopefully doing mornings with troy and if i am right with or without troy they need to promote rocky big time.The mistake mainline made with roccky is not promoting his morning show on lrs all they did was promote that stupid signal upgrade.
 
I was wrong i looked at 1570 websight and it said rock starting dec 1 hence the first day rocky starts his new gig so i bet it is 1570 that should be very interesting an am station that plays rock music.I wonder what genre of rock music and will it work?

I have not heard rock music on am in louisville since the early 90s when djx owned 1080 and they were part time alternative.

Back when louisville radio was much more interesting to the listener.Rush was on 790 then and they had alan colmes right after rush.

Well it is a news/talk station and his name is ROCKy, so I'm thinking he is gonna host a talk show like he did on WAVE 3 Listens when Cindi was on vacation. He'll be a great host.
