I stumbled upon 103.5 Kost tonight and it is Karen Sharpes last show on kost. Today is October 10 2025. She has been doing it 38 years...

They'll take a few weeks to let the dust settle with fill-ins. Outside of launching the Breakfast Club immediately in Philadelphia yesterday, that is standard operating procedure for iHeart following layoffs and the planned addition of syndication.
They're the big Christmas Music station in the L.A. market, are they not? Probably they're going to use subs through the seasonal launch and the holiday music, and then switch to the syndicated programming, Delilah or whatever, after January 1st.

Delilah is being added on kost and they say do to Karen sharp retirement shouldn't they say forced retirement. I like Delilah but it's just sad it won't be local anymore😢😢😢

Then there's Kari Steele, a 33 year veteran who has been missing for over a month. She's still on the website, but there are two midday hosts now, Jack Kratoville and Ellen Ervives. She wasn't part of the budget cuts, so maybe an illness?

I heard on kost today Kari Steele will be back Monday. And they said she is healthy and feeling good. So I assume it had to be health issues with how they were talking.

Jack Kratoville is a weekend and fill in host on WLTW New York, KOST's sister station. I see Steele is still on the KOST website schedule. And so is Delilah from 7 to midnight.

Interesting that KOST on weekdays has an all female staff. But it clearly doesn't have the status as WLTW. Other than Delilah, all WLTW shifts are live and local, even Victor Sosa overnight. But KOST has no overnight DJ and it uses Kratoville and other voice tracking from other markets for weekends and fill ins.
