I team dies

Fox ends the iteam that started in 1977 with Jim Axel and Richard Belcher.
I'm surprised that Fox is eliminating the investigatory team in one of the largest television markets in the United States. It would make sense if this was market 50+ and was just going to be outsourced to the market next door, but Atlanta is massive. Really says something about the financial struggles broadcast companies are going through.
(P.S. Not exactly the best way to phrase the title; for a second there I thought the WAGA I-Team died simultaneously in some tragic accident or something.)

I-Team promo from 1996:

I remember Virginia Ellis was a reporter and weekend anchor here in Houston in the 1980s. Knew she later went to WAGA, but appears she left the news business years ago.
