I think I heard 1215 from UK

About 12:50 AM EST I heard a very weak signal just above WPHT 1210's IBOC sideband and I think it was 1215 Absolute Radio in UK. (I first heard the 1215 last month for a very short time). I listened to Absolute Radio online and confirmed where it was coming from..I believe London! The station was playing the current British pop and Eric Clapton's "I Shot the Sheriff".
The signal lasted for a couple of minutes; and the antenna used is the Quantum QX v2.0 Loopstick. Wow!

Good catch and usually a regular around here (eastern Ontario). However, are you sure it was them? Absolute Radio's interactive playlist does not seem to list Eric Clapton's rendition of "I Shot the Sheriff" during your mentioned time period.

My bad! Mr. Clapton's tangle with the sheriff was indeed spun at 5:56 am local time in London.

Good catch, is this your first TA DX then?

Acturally, I may have heard it earlier but I don't know if it's the same station I heard earlier this year or not (see the 747 mHz thread). But this time, it's the UK station.

As I've been posting in the 747 thread, I've spent the last week in Europe.  1215 doesn't have all that great of a signal in central London, where I was last weekend.  But it was pretty solid in southern Germany (Stuttgart) where I was afterward.

I thought it was still "Virgin Radio".  Did Sir Richard decide to bail?  (.....And neglect to inform me  ;D)

Main stick is 200kw directional. To the NW if I'm not mistaken. Other transmitters are 100 and 105kw respectively. One directional (also NW) and one apparently is non-directional.
