Hey there boys and girls. I can't help but wonder just what the geniuses at Hall are thinking with their change of KOOL 105. For the life of me I can't figure out what they mean when they say Classic Hits. 60% of the time it's Classic Rock. 30% of the time it's leftover Top 40. 10% of the time it's 70's-80's Dance. Seems to me that this station isn't playing enough of any one genre of music to grab any substantial audience shares. It sounds like a mess to me. You never know what you're going to hear next. (and that position is already taken by MP103) It also seems to take aim at Hall's Classic Rock station The Wizard. And you've got to love the Dance show at noon on Fridays! What is that all about?? While KOOL Oldies may not have been #1 in the market I would be willing to bet that...after the next rating book...Hall will look longingly at those #'s and wish they had them back. And a Classic Hit station being called KOOL? That screams oldies...at least change the name! They took a mediocre station and made it sub-medicore. Great job guys.
