I was listenning to 1090am yesterday (Sunday-May 6, 2012) around just after 4pm, I thought
W I L D had returned to it's Classic Soul Format.
The program that they had yesterday between that time and 6pm was great. They played some song by "The Whispers" that I never heard before, not even on the recent W I L D, nor not on Star 93.7, nor on W O D S.
Whatever programming they had on yesterday was great and made me think Classic Soul was back on.


I was listenning last week too around that time and they had some new Urban AC music as well as after that played some old Madonna song

somebody mentioned on another thread that its some kind of music service they use which does feature some of the old music unless there agreement expired it hasn't come back!!
 
WILD is runnning chinese tennis scores ATM. of course with all the classic soul music on WMBR 88.1, Touch 106.1, Vibe 105.3, and Echo the Velvet Touch on 96.5, youd have to have a 'Soul Uber alles' mindset to suggest we need more of it?
 
They used to run it Monday through Friday from 11:45 p.m. to 4 a.m. before playing canned music until Spanish music came on at 6 a.m. And on Saturday nights, they'd run it from midnight until 4 a.m. before doing more canned music on Sunday morning.
