I turned an old baby boomer onto Wilco

One of my customers bought Neil Young tickets to the Reno show. I told him that he would'nt like the opener ,Death Cab For Cutie but if he went to the NY or Philly shows with Wilco opening he would dig them. He said he is going to buy seats for those shows also and never heard of Wilco. I gave him glowing reviews of them and since we last talked he listened to various tracks online. He called me and said, "this band sounds really cool." I explained the whole history and the lineup changes ect. He said he would make a point to get there early and catch Wilco. Im glad that I was able to open up a baby boomer's mind who was brainwashed by oldies stations with animal names that play Fleetwood Mac and Billy Joel songs ad nauseum.
