I have to say that this show wasn't over the top, but it was good. Plus Kathy must've learn everything she knows about reality TV from her daughter.

I didn't even consider watching it.
If we all stop watching Fakeality shows they will go away.<P ID="signature">______________

Well at least it was better than the one that followed it: Runaway Bride Jennifer Wilbanks.

I absolutely WILL NOT watch any of the following:

any show with Paris Hilton
any show about Michael Jackson
any show about The Runaway Bride
any show with Paula Zahn talking about anything
any "reality" show
any episode of Entertainment Tonight
any station broadcasting home shopping and/or infomercials

How do their derrieres manage to accomodate all the people trying to kiss them?

Also, why all the media frenzy over the missing girl in Aruba? Don't get me wrong, I'm not a total sourpuss. My sympathy goes out to her family, because I am a parent too and such an event is the stuff of nightmares. On the other hand, do you think the media would be in such a tizzy if she wasn't blonde and pretty and from a well-to-do family? Hundreds of people from less fortunate circumstances go missing every week and not a peep is heard from the media. I could make a good case for bias if I were so inclined.

On the other hand, I've been following the case of the missing Boy Scout in Utah over the weekend and I was happy to see him found alive and well. It's high time we had a good-news story.

KL (currently watching CNN with the sound off, awaiting their BREAKING NEWS graphic)

Actually, we can watch it all we want, or not watch it at all. It won't affect the ratings. The only people that matter are the ones with the boxes on top of their sets or the diaries in their back pocket. (does Neilson still use books?)

Geez, that just leaves you with the Weather Channel - for now! :)

The Weather Channel is infinitely more entertaining than any of the shows listed in my previous post. However, having said that, there IS some thought-
provoking and informative programming out there. You just have to know where to look. "Mythbusters", "Cops", the daily double run of "Star Trek: TNG" on Spike,
and "Family Guy", to name but a few. Does anyone run "Connections" or "The Secret Life Of Machines" nowadays?

With HDTV, the crap factor of a bad show comes through much more clearly.
