I went ahead and moved my antenna

Well to Mike and CW, I did go ahead on moved my antenna to South towards Victoria, I can still be able to pick up Houston pretty good, but I probably kissed the HD signals goodbye doing that (They dont have a format in there yet that I cant live without yet anyway) It did have some problems with K-99 and Sunny, Mix 96.5 and the beach, but other than that, it still pulled in Houston ok.

jras, how you are doing with the reception of Corpus Christi and that area? Are you pulling in most all of the stations? Unfortunately there is not a single station in Houston I couldn't live without. You don't want to live in the past, but I sure would like to turn Houston radio back about 25 years ago. Especially AM radio, I have 24 presets on my SUV and not any AM station is programmed on one. I have stations like KTWL which is hit and miss reception and KACC, probably one of the best Rock stations anywhere on the presets, although KACC gets some interference and fading, but not bad for a Class A station with the antenna SE of Alvin. KFTG Santa Fe, a Class C3 does well and I believe I did a study of KACC and they could up the power to a Class C3 if they wanted to do so. Not sure anymore, now that a new station is going on the air in northern Montgomery Co on 89.7 in a town called Richards as a Class A.

Hope you hear some interesting radio now that you have turned the antenna.

Mike

Corpus does ok, not as good as I hoped to, funny thing is I can pull in some of those low powered stations in Victoria also. I'm also getting a 105.5 from somewere, it seems to break up a lot not as reception, but as music like satilite problems? I thougt the 105.5 in corpus was silent? I could be wrong though. It almost sounded like religous music. It'll be interesting this summer to see what I can get.

I happen to be in Corpus Christi this week, and 105.5 is not silent..It's not religious, it's Mexicano.

Strange.. wonder if it is a low powered somewere? I need to see what network it is if I can get it again...
