I will trade you a 103.5 for your 96.5

(Bala Cynwyd, PA November 1, 2006) Entercom Communications Corp. (NYSE: ETM) announced today the commencement of a time brokerage agreement with CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS.A and CBS) for radio stations in Memphis, Austin and Cincinnati as part of its acquisition agreement announced on August 21, 2006.

In addition, effective today, Entercom announces a station exchange with Cumulus Media Partners (operated by Cumulus Media, Inc. NASDAQ: CMLS) in the Cincinnati market. Entercom will be swapping Oldies 103.5 WGRR-FM for Cumulus’ Country 96.5 WYGY-FM.

With the addition of Cincinnati (market revenue rank #23) and Austin (market revenue rank #37), Entercom now operates in 23 markets across the country.

Entercom is one of the nation's largest radio broadcasters with operations, pro forma for pending acquisitions, in Boston, Seattle, Denver, Sacramento, Cincinnati, Portland, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Austin, Norfolk, Buffalo, New Orleans, Providence, Memphis, Greensboro, Rochester, Greenville/Spartanburg, Madison, Wichita, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Springfield and Gainesville/Ocala.

In the not too distant future, neither of those dial spots will matter either. Don't look for the Star to stay where it is, or what it is. 94.9 will become a rock station and YGY will resume its supporting sister role to WUBE.
