"Amazon.com coming on recently with their own HD landing pages is really significant in the online world. And we’re doing very well in what I would call major regional retailers -- the Tweeters, the ABC Warehouses. So it's been an accelerating story on the retail side as well."

"Last year, tens of thousands of HD radios were sold. This year you'll see hundreds of thousands, and we think there will be over a million next year."

"How is the rollout of HD radio going, in your assessment? Well, I'm obviously biased in my perspective, but I think it is going fabulously well."

"On the consumer side, I think the news is also very good."

Stations to Promote HD Radio - "We need to sell HD Radios."

I don't think so, buddy - a lier, a fraud, and a farse ! :D

I wonder, if this con-artist knows that the Hello Kitty Clock Radio with Night Light KT2055 is ranked #86 on Amazon radios ! :D

"Ibiquity: '05 All About the Radios"

http://www.radioworld.com/reference-room/iboc/06_rw_hd_show_news.shtml

"I think '05 is really going to be about getting many more radios out there and working with industry to drive consumer adoption of radios."

"Interview with Robert Struble, President of iBiquity Digital"

http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/ISEO-rmsbcspd/reviews/20040127/hd_radio_interview.html

"At a high level consumers get that digital means some things — it means higher quality, it means convenience, it means choice, it means interactivity — and all that stuff’s going to come with radio."

More lies, lies, lies from the con-artist - two years later, and still public apathy ! :D

Why the new name SayNoToIBOC?

Now you know that we're smarter than you think.

Hey Struble, got some bad news for you, buddy - the Receptor HD has fallen to #8,842 in Amazon's electronics rankings; this is an all-time low ! Yea, Buddy ! :D

Wow. He's quaking in his shoes, what with the two new radios announced this week.

It can't be true, though SayNoToIBOC PLL says that manufacturers aren't interested in HD. Whoops! Another lie!

:D :D :D :D :D

PLL: New name, same lies

"Wow. He's quaking in his shoes, what with the two new radios announced this week."

Oh, BIG announcement ! BIG joke - they won't sell, either ! :D

Oh yeah...anything YOU say is believable! Still didn't answer, though...why the name change? You either got banned or ran away...

IBOCRocks: "Wow. He's quaking in his shoes, what with the two new radios announced this week."

It has been 15 years, since the founding of iBiquity and 7 years since investment in IBOC - investors were expecting a payoff two years ago and that hasn't happened. There is VERY little consumer interest in HD Radio, as pointed out in sales figures, and iBiquity took in only four million last year, due to royalties from Satellite Radio. Yes, if I was Struble, I would be, "quaking in my shoes" ! All of you seem to think that with stations going on-air with IBOC and with IBOC receivers out in the market place, this is magically going to generate revenue/interest - sorry, buddy ! :D

"IBiquity Digital's Make-or-Break Point Approaches" :D

"Clear Channel tells FCC it wants more radio stations"

http://rmahorney.livejournal.com/429768.html

"The August 31st Clear Channel submission also included a J.P. Morgan
study on HD radio, iBiquity corporation's version of digital radio,
suggesting that the relatively new technology will not boost revenues." :D

IBOC, a complete failure = "IBiquity Digital's Make-or-Break Point Approaches" + "Clear Channel tells FCC it wants more radio stations" :D

Hey Struble, hail this - Receptor HD Amazon.com Sales Rank: #11,613 in Electronics ! :D

I'm sure he cares!

IBOCRocks: "I'm sure he cares!"

Looks like he does care about what is going on at Amazon:

Struble: "Amazon.com coming on recently with their own HD landing pages is really significant in the online world."

I am sure someone at iBiquity is monitoring Amazon - Struble, quite the spin-doctor, hugh ? ;)

You're the biggest spin doctor of them all! You can take a positive article about HD, and find something negative to make a headline out of!

Again, the Receptor radio IS NOT the only HD Radio. It is impossible to gauge one by looking at the other.

Thanks !

IBOCRocks: "Again, the Receptor radio IS NOT the only HD Radio. It is impossible to gauge one by looking at the other."

You are still missing the point - it is not about WHICH receiver, it is about the public apathy towards HD Radio - NO ONE CARES !

Yet you come here day in and day out! If no one cares, why do you bother!! :D :D :D

Oh, I'm pretty sure I know what they think...which is why I'm always making sure to use your "real" name!

The ugly truth is: HD radio doesn’t sound very good. The receivers are insanely expensive (Kenwood sells a $400 add on tuner to a $400 head unit. So $800 to get HD radio in your car.)
Ibiquity is so worried about making money off licensing the technology it’s been developing over the last 10 years that HD radio will probably end up being priced out of the market.
And given all the adjacent channel interference we’re starting to see from stations switching on their HD radio, it make be yet another nail in the coffin of traditional over the air radio!

Funny, you don't mention the $150 JVC's when you mention cost. I wonder why?
