IBOC Multicasting Questions

1. Are these stations' legal IDs on the second channel the same as they are for the primary, non-IBOC signal?

2. If multicasting becomes commonplace, could the FCC seek to impose lower ownership limits in a market, rather than have numerous signals in the same market all owned by the same company?<P ID="signature">______________

The only ID requirements at present are for the main channel. There is no prescribed format for an ID on the secondary channel, nor, ofr that matter, any ID requirement.

At the recent radio NAB in Philly, this was one of the issues raised by the two commissioners who appeared. Indeed, it may delay any approval of IBOC standards.
Small loss.
