IBOC sound samples?

Are there any Mp3 sound samples of recent IBOC music broadcasts online? (preferably Oldies, Standards, or even Radio Disney) I'm just curious about what it sounds like. Thanks!

I posted these on the New York board:

http://www.radio-info.com/smf/index.php/topic,86729.0.html

Recorded from WABC's iboc last spring. WABC Rewound is an annual special of oldies and airchecks from their Top-40 era that runs on Memorial Day.

Note that wABC's iboc is fed monaural only.

I'll put up some FM samples when i get a chance to record them.

I'll also probably record/post the first hour of Imus' debut on WABC Monday 12-3, I don't know if the iboc will be running when the show starts at 6:00am though.

Thanks for the Mp3's... I'm also looking for any WLS rewind weekend in HD or any of WSAI when they were running oldies and using HD.

I just like to see what the encoding does with oldies with wide separation of channels, like the early Beatles recordings. The way that oldies stations are disappearing off the FM dial AM may be the only place they'll wind up...

How 'bout these AM radio samples? - I dare you to find even 1 AM IBOC station with this even this full-sounding AM audio:

Easy:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/u8q8t2 WABC 7-15-06 mp3 Recorded during iboc operation from 1974 KLH tuner into Extigy A/D convertor. No enhancement. 8MB

For an example of C-Quam this 1997 cut from WWRL"

I've posted both of these before.

I have heard the examples you have linked before and, frankly, they sound poor, like they were taken from a low bitrate RA feed.

There is no-way audio like that audio would be considered competitive these days.

Keep in mind, that was 80 miles away from a 10KW station using a Radio Shack loop (which reduced the bandwidth).

Actually, I had even better sound from my old Chrysler AM stereo (minivan) radio with 5-band EQ.
