THE ICE DRAGON SPEAKETH: Okay, I don't know if I am flattered or slightly disturbed. It's not everyday, you come to a website. And see a picture of you from 1992 when you were 16. As well as being tagged as this "Unbelievebly Awesome" radio Personality, that is going to "Take over the Grand Strand" Much love to my Friends Brodie and Nighttrain! Thank you!

But my problem on the whole is this....
Let's say Ice Dragon did exist, to which nobody knew otherwise, you are so threatened by an unknown entity, that you felt obliged to bash him. With No research, no enquiry, NOTHING!! Just loud mouthing someone you didn't know.
Now I am assuming those that felt compelled to comment are in/on radio. The flip side to this is, had I actually been a well known personality, you would have been my first targets. Because since you felt compelled to bash me, you obviously felt insecure with your own "on-air" schtick. You were threatened, and not by researching me. But by reading an OPINION BASED MESSAGE BOARD! In a nutshell, I rattled ya'lls cages. And I didn't exist.
And if you are saying to yourself, "I didn't buy it" "I knew there was no Ice Dragon" Then why did you keep checking back? Why did you keep responding to Brodie? Obviously it got under your skin! Which means THE ICE DRAGON HAS WON. The Sarcastic overtones, the cult like following and praise that was posted. Would've been my first clue that this was, in fact, a hose job!
...And finally, to vindicate myself, seeings as I've been the subject of this whole fiasco. I am not Board Op, I'm a full-time Production Utility. The picture was taken in 92, and I was 16.
I will close with this; It is a very liberating experience, recieving criticisms from strangers. Not to mention, Strangers who hide behind a screenname. I guess it's a good thing I've got thick skin, and a great sense of humor. This is what you call an inside joke, that NO ONE GETS! Now, don't you feel stupid that you have been inputing on this post, and there is no payoff... for you! As for Me, Brodie, and Train... Well, we're laughing asses off at you!

Actually, while an interesting sociological experiment, I don't think anyone's "cage" was rattled at all...at least not in the way you think. This board has always had a subtle difference to it from other boards. We just don't think much of self promoting, self proclaimed "flavors of the week" who say they're coming into any South Carolina town to wreak havoc on the airwaves. And we don't mind calling them out, either. Besides, it was elementary, actually. C'mon, now, "The Ice Dragon"?...on a country station? owned by Qantum?...who just had a new morning man on that same station leave after 2 weeks?...supported by a couple of bored, board lurkers no one has ever heard of who are newly registered to this board with single digit posts(at the time). lol. I stand by my first post. Too much glue. :

I don't read much "buzz" or "goodwill" in anybody's posts except Mr. 5 and 6 Posts who were blowing sunshine up their buddy's [beep].
If you think it was anything else going on, you got to stop believing your own hype, cause nobody else does.
It was all about making fun of "Ice Dragon" because that's all it deserved yall. It started out as a parody, and nobody else changed it at any believable level, until the hoax was given up. And yall couldn't even carry it through a weekend? You must not even know how The Real Radio People do it...

I think the record needs to be set staight, since my last comment was pulled. I wasn't an experiment, It wasn't preplanned, It was a joke... That's right a joke. This whole topic was a Joke... At me! The Topic starter, found an old picture of me and posted it, along with the whole story. So by the time I came in and found it, I already had taken quite a few stabs, about 3 pages worth, by complete strangers. I would assume people could understand what a "Shock to the system" it would be to discover this. Some of you would've had the whole topic pulled. So, you think I got "sunshine up my ###?" I don't think so... Let it Go! You call this sunshine?
