I'd Like My MSNBC, Please

I think it's one of the cool features of satellite radio... being able to listen to some limited TV audio...

We can already listen to Fox News Channel, CNN, Headline News and CNBC. But, what I'd really like is the opportunity to listen to MSNBC audio. I've send emails to Sirius, and get back a generic "thanks for writing" email.

Any good reason why they don't add this? I can't imagine that there would be a downside for NBC. They've already got CNBC there, so it would seem that there is a relationship between the companies.

Might even make some sense for NBC to program an all-news radio channel on satellite.

They already make most MSNBC programs available via audio & video podcast.

It might be a better idea to add some/all of the MSNBC prime time lineup (starting at 6, 7, or 8 PM) to the existing CNBC Radio. This would probably be frequently pre-empted on Sirius, but they could also repeat the prime lineup at least once, which would give a reliable recording timeslot for those with capable radios, and allow other time zones a better shot at the programming.
