Just as a matter of history the Q-106 board was installed by some of the best engineers ever. At Kearny Villa Rd they had some really awesome warning lights that would flash when the cd was ending or the cart was ending. And they had 2-Studer Tape Decks, 3-Denon 951's, 6-Tomcats, and a Shortcut. Bill Thompson had even wired the EBS controls into one of the panels on that board. The engineers that originally built Q106 at Kearny Villa were none other than Tom Cox, John Rigg, and Bill Thompson. After they left "The legendary engineering team of John Barcroft and Ron Foo moved KJOY 94.1 into that studio. Ah the good ole days of radio with cds, cart machines, and live dj's. Oh! and guys down the hall from KJOY was Rock 105.3 where on Friday nights there were kegs of beer, and strippers !!!! Yes the nude strip bars would send over their dancers to dance nude for the employees. But that was in Jacor days, DAMN there will never be a company as great as Jacor again.
Damn Janet Jackson screwed up broadcasting. No one wanted to see her old saggy breast!
