I have an idea for a B98.5 HD side channel: specially programmed B98.5 just for the unemployed! Voicetracked words of encouragement from Delilah in the morning, Kelly McCoy middays, Vikki Locke afternoons, replay of Clark Howard 7pm-10pm (since unemployed people need to be cheap), then Jordan Graye 10pm-2am.
Not only positive words of encouragement from B98.5 FM personalities cheering you on in your job search ... but only upbeat songs to keep you motivated and going like "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", Burl Ives's "The Little Engine That Could", and Irene Cara's "Fame". What else could they play? And dramatic inspirational readings with Kelly McCoy narrating "Who Moved My Cheese?" and Delilah reading from Six Sigma training manuals.
And they could promote regular B98.5 by reminding people as they find new jobs to start their workday with the 98 at 9. "B98.5 HD Side Channel for the Unemployed" would be a great extension of the B98.5 concept and brand.
