IDEA: Q 95.1 THE PEOPLES STATION

My idea is to blow up latino vibe and change it to a todays r&b/personality driven format

The Lineup:

Steve Harvey mornings
Kid and Ruben (if availble) or Warren Balltentine middays
Monique early afternoons
Michael Baisden late afternoons
Wendy williams at night
Keith Sweat Hotel

I think there is a need for a urban/hispanic high personality station and not just a station playing music. I am a big fan of Wendy and Steve and have heard Michael on occasion. Whether you are black/hispanic/or white, they bring you in. I have checked out Mo's new show last week and it is LOL funny. I think the weekends could be mixed with show highlights, todays r&b, and give some local talent a time to put their skills to work on the mic.

Nice idea but the reality is Phoenix will never see another urban or urban ac radio station anytime soon or in our lifetime. And Kid and Ruben are not a good fit at all on urban radio.

Not enough demo to support it in the Valley! Just look at Ellay (L.A.)
