Make ME-TV available on cable and satellite for areas that don't have it on a local subchannel.

In a way this would be nice. However, if it gains too much exposure, the owners get greedy and they decide to program the channel like every other cable network to maximize the reach and profits. Best it stays somewhat obscure.

TV Land: Show a classic TV show in 30 minutes, NOT 34 with added commercials!

GSN2: Classic game shows, NOTHING after the 1994-95 run of Family Feud please! And maybe TPiR can be brought back...

I would launch the canadian channels MuchLoud, MuchMoreRetro, Teletoon Retro, and Space by rebrands

Rebrand VH1 Classic as MuchMoreRetro USA and Fuse as MuchLoud USA. MuchLoud USA will fill the void left by MTVX. They will be commercial free like their canadian versions but unlike them not subject to canadian content requirements.

Rebrand Boomerang as Teletoon Retro and add commercials but unlike the canadian version not subject to canadian content requirements

Rebrand Sci-fi, ahem, Syfy to Space but unlike the canadian version not subject to canadian content requirements. Drop wrestling that was on Syfy

Bring back HA! by rebranding TV Land and bring back Comedy Channel by rebranding Comedy Central

CBS Sportsline?
Fox Sporting News?

CBS Sports stopped using the CBS Sportsline branding a few years ago. That was when the rebranded the CBS Sports website to cbssports.com instead of cbssportsline.com

Okay bring back CNNSI but this time like ESPN is and also CNNFN to.
Just put a Ticker on CBS Sports Network and also add Inside the NBA 7 Days a Week because TNT is owned by the same people who own CBS.

CBS Sports Network has had a sports ticker since day one. And TNT and CBS aren't owned by the same people. Turner owns TNT while CBS Corp. owns CBS, but both share some sport rights.

As for giving CNNSI another try, why bother? Turner already has their sports on TBS and TNT and works fine.

Yes I knew that about CBS Sports Network and would like to see E. Johnson and so on CBS Sports Network on Inside the NBA because if has Inside the College Football and so on.

One correction. I wouldn't launch Teletoon Retro in the US. instead I would merge PBJ with Boomerang. I would add commercials and and The Classic Media Library would also be added

How about classic TV channels divided by decade? You know, like the decades channels on SiriusXM satellite radio?

A 50s channel could have shows like I Love Lucy, The Honeymooners, and whatever else from the 50s hasn't been destroyed.

A 60s channel could have shows like Gilligan's Island, The Andy Griffith Show, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, etc.

A 70s channel could have shows like All in the Family, The Odd Couple, The Bob Newhart Show, Maude, etc.

An 80s channel could have shows like Small Wonder, ALF, Out of this World, Saved by the Bell, St. Elsewhere, etc.

A 90s channel could have shows like Party of Five, Mad About You, Home Improvement, etc.

I'd list shows for a 2000s channel, but those shows are still too new to be considered "classic" TV IMHO.

As for shows that started in one decade and ended in the next, the episodes from such a show would run on the channels corresponding to their respective decades. For example, Full House started in 1987 and ended in 1995, so the episodes from 1987 through 1989 would be shown on the 80s channel; while the remaining shows would air on the 90s channel.

Now if cable/satellite/telco providers had the bandwidth, and these channels were to actually come into being, would any of them add the channels to their lineups? Since this thread is mostly, if not completely, comprised of wishful thinking about hypothetical launches of new channels, rebrandings of existing channels, and resurrections of defunct channels, we can only imagine. ;)

I think I posted to the wrong thread a moment ago.

A channel specializing in cheesy, campy Made For TV movies from the 60's, 70's and 80's.

Got the idea from finding a DVD of the old Made for TV movie about Evel Knievel starring
George Hamilton. It was in a bin at the dollar store.

:-[

I'd had a similar thought about multiple TV Land channels in the past, but I definitely wouldn't trust them to do it now.

MLB Network-1pm to 3pm What's on the Radio be Simulcast on TV. 12pm to 1pm MLB Auction. 11am to 12pm Baseball Game show that has a Jeopardy segment also a Wheel of Future other Games to in it.
TBS Local News from Altanta.

A nice blend of incoherence and illogical is a sure-fire hit.

Mastaclocksetta: Not a bad idea at all, always enjoyed that set up on XM, there may be some overlap like rock and roll and MOR during the 50's 60's and 70's
but it works out well.
