Idiots running KTKR

I'm listening to Chris Moore Sunday morning like I always do and come 8:30 am that ****** Bag Joe Pags comes on. I'm like WTF. That retard has a show during the week on WOAI. Why is he mucking up my Sunday morning with his HOT AIR. As usual some retard program director who got his job brown nosing or being a relative of the CEO of ClearChannel is jacking with the schedule.. Leave it alone you ****** Bag...

Pags was talking sports? It was always embarassing listening to him try to discuss the Spurs and Cowboys on the 'OAI morning show, so I can't imagine he'd be handed a slot on the CC sports talker. I'm not an NFL fan at all and my knowledge of the Spurs is just so-so, but I was better informed about both of those teams than Pags was!

You sure it wasn't just him hosting some pre-produced public-service show? or maybe a live remote at some advertiser?

KTKR must be having lots of trouble selling spots these days. It seems like they're airing Consumer Reports updates more often than sports news updates!

What you heard was most likely those pesky public affairs programs that are aired from 3-6 AM on Sundays. Does the FCC still require these from stations, eventhough hardly anyone listens? If they were that important, wouldn't they be broadcast during regular hours? During my overnight shift, when I ran out of CDs I had no other choice. AM didn't work in our bldg, too much MW RF interference from equipment. And ALL of the FMers had their PA yack time. Zzzzzzzz. CJ Cruz did the ones for Cox and some other people did the ones for BMP, Lotus. Since I never listened to any CC music stations, I don't recall who did their public affairs chit chat show.

Actually someone at KTKR was smart enough to bring in Mike Taylor. He's big time. Now if we could just get Andy Everett in the morning paired with someone like a Charlie Parker then we'd have a kick-ass morning show.
