If Mike FM Flop , I think Entercom should move WAAF to 93.7 and put WEEI FM on 107.3 ( simulcast 107.3 FM and 850 am ). Entercom then should sell Wvei ( Worcester ) and put music ( classic Rock ) on 103.7 ( R.I. ) . Is that a good Idea or a bad idea ?

That may work though personally I'd love to have WEEI "FM" on 93.7 because it comes in very well where I work (I work in N. Reading and the WMKK stick is
in Peabody). Given the popularity of WEEI/ Sox, etc. (the Sox move to 103.7
next year) and the fact that 103.7 covers a lot of area in RI, Mass., and
CT, I would think they'd keep sports on 103.7, though.<P ID="signature">______________

I'd like to see to WEEI FM in Boston start off as a Sports simulcast, and then switch to Top 40. That way, it would be like haveing WHTT back, sorta...

maybe I am one of a few, but I dont take personalities with non-local accents as seriously. How can I listen to a DJ who starts at a station scream how his station rules or all the hype, compasion, etc when he sounds NOTHING like anyone I know? It makes me feel like when I watch a Boston-based show and NONE of the people (or only one) have what resembles an accent (ie Boston Public, Crossing Jordan, that pizza shop show that Nomar guested on).

But alas it is why Steve Sweeney is a Boston comic god and barely known nationally outside of his bit movie appearances...his accent is my next door neighbor and he talks about the guy across the street Sully Sully Sully and Sully. His body of work is hilarious but it is too regional.
