If Clear Channel is sold or goes private, will this mean more job cuts? I can't imagine that a new owner will start hiring after coughing up $18 billion but I could be wrong.
 
I think you're right but wasnt the original idea in taking it private that the Mays themselves would buy it? or are they now in a position like F. Ross Johnson who tried to buy Phillip Morris and ended up just opening it up to a bidding war which he lost?.
