If Disney sells ABC radio, what about WWJZ?

It would be a stand alone AM for the three mentioned suitors (Emmis Entercom Cumulus). Would they re-sell it to someone like Clear Channel or maybe Radio One?
Also, does anyone think a condition of the sale will be to keep WWJZ as a Radio Disney affiliate?
The coverage has been a bit unclear. Stories say ABC isn't selling Radio Disney. But will it sell its O&Os with the Radio Disney format?

If I'm not mistaken aren't they both tapped out with what they can own in the market?
Edited by SCRHack on 11/10/05 09:31 PM.

Considering that pretty much all of the Radio Disney stations are O&Os, the network would be dead if that happened.

If they're going to continue to run Radio Disney, I don't see them selling the stations.

Why do they need radio stations to continue Radio Disney? It is on XM, Sirius, and Music Choice. Even if you don't have XM or Sirius, if you have DirecTv, Comcast Digital cable, or Dish Network, you have it.

Disney execs have repeatedly said that Radio Disney and ESPN radio are part of those brands, not of ABC Radio, and will not be sold as they are vital to the brand marketing and brand extension of the Disney and ESPN marks.

Of course, we know executives always tell the truth...
