If no merger, does XM shut down?

It's a simple question. If the XM-Sirius merger does not get done, would XM close up shop? There's a point at which you have to think the investors in this company are tired of seeing red ink. The merger offers the hope that they'll be able to recoup their investment. But if that fails, it seems to me they may just want to cut their losses and close up shop.

I'm curious to know what others think.

if they do merge...the should keep ALL OF THE CHANNELS...dont get rid of an xm or sirius one just because there will be 2 stations with the same format...

"oh my god!!! 2 stations playing the same shit!!! one needs to go off!!!" none of this crapola is to happen... GOT IT! thats what needs to be understood by the people in charge of this
