Why were they removed from the reporter panel. Is their any chance they could return, if they continue to be Dance Friendly? I wish their was away to confirm just how much Dance they do play, but with no stream, no website, and only the Islanders to help us out, it doesnt give us an exact persective as to How many Dance songs are in roatation? And how long they go, between Dance Songs, is it 2 or 3 an hour, is it one every two hours??? Their just isnt any way to accurately tell.

The last mention I remember seeing about Party was that they had gone pretty much straight up mainstream CHR, meaning that they probably aren't anymore dance friendly than any other CHR-pop station in the states. I don't know that being "dance friendly" is good enough to qualify for the Billboard reporter panel anyway, judging by who they have left on there. If dance were at the core of their format and they were throwing in a few mainstream songs, then I could see it happening... but in this case, I think it's the total opposite.

Great sounding station before the flip, but I think they should have been further west and closer to the big city.

They weren't removed. I just reviewed all of Robert Moore's posts of the panel since 2004 and Party 105.3 was never a Billboard reporter.

By the way, who are you Robert? Your info is very useful and you post on many R-I boards. Are you in the music business? If yes, what do you do?

Wouldnt a station like Z-1035 Torronto qualify for the panel, if it was a U.S station? What about FUN 107?

Go to www.stoneage.yes.com and click on Nassau-Suffolk. It shows you what 105.3 is playing.

I'm a part-time DJ and actor, but thanks for asking.

Another mystery is now solved. We all appreciate your posts Robert, so keep em comin.

On a light note, I was gonna be an actor too. I wanted to star in Porn Comedies, but instead of laughter all my female co-stars kept moaning (very LOUDLY) at me ;)

Last few days I would say upwards of 30% dance, but today seems more like 10-15%, and getting heavier on the slow ballads
