If Rock Had ANY Chance......

.....of success in this market........ would have thought good idea for CBS would be to move the 104.3 format to 103.1 ......keep rock but lose the ''buzz'' name...go mainstream ''everything that rocks'' on 102.9

103.1 still covers the entire WPB market......and you get a rock station into Miami-Ft Lauderdale (while still covering WPB)

But im thinking.....the demand just isnt there to justify it

......furthermore.....the best part of the 102.9 signal wold be in the northern half of the market (AKA Broward) ....aren't the demo's slightly more favorable to a rock format in Broward than Dade ?

anybody have a county breakdown ?.....or other info on that ?

Which station operates on 102.9? WPBZ "The Buzz" operates on 103.1 C1 while WEAT-FM operates on 104.3 C. I'm curious in case I've missed something regarding South Florida FM.
