If Super Power stations grandfathered in,
such as WBUF, WTSS, WDCX.
if▪︎when, they [ever] sell.... does the sale of license include the current signal strength or does the potential new buyer be informed they will reduce to 50,000 watts

The license will stay the same unless the license is modified.

Two of those stations have been sold multiple times, and in each case, the super-power has conveyed to the new owner.

In fact WBUF went through a bankruptcy and a sale, and still retained it's power status.

WBUF actually did have it's power modified several years ago when it moved its antenna array from the Boston Hills to the tower behind Channel 4 on Elmwood Avenue. Power is generally based on market coverage and antenna height. I'm sure David will have much more to say on that topic.

Correct, but the power change was because of the antenna change, not ownership. The OP was asking about ownership change.

Even then, the power is still above the standard 50K.
