>If CC has the [EDIT] to put any brand of Hispanic crap on 104.5, that is the end for radio in this rathole city.
Is that a literal or figurative statement?
>The dial is OVER saturated with urban product as it is now.
If by urban you mean R&B, than yes, you are correct. However, a Spanish format undoubtedly attracts a different demographic than the one to whom Rap/ Hip Hop stations target. You are comparing apples to oranges.
>The losers on the other white meat board are dripping at this drek on 106.1, if it were any form of rock, you would hear them crying to their mommas.
[EDIT-profanity]
Probably not. "The other white meat" most likely are celebrating the addition of a new station...not the subtraction of the smooth jazz format. I would assume that "the other white meat" most likely did not listen to smooth jazz, so a format switch from one format to which they did not listen to another format to which they would not listen would not likely cause an uproar...or as you put it, "crying to their mommas."
>We now have to give up Christmas music for this Spanish bull,
Perhaps not. We will still have the "B" for our sounds of the season, and as of this moment, no switch to a Spanish format is certain.
>I wish the Irish were treated this royal years back,
I suppose if Marconi invented the radio before the days of the potato famine, you would have a valid argument.
>I know I should of taken Spanish in High School.
Actually, you would want to write "I should have taken Spanish." Nonetheless, I took Spanish in high school, and yet I would not choose to listen to a Spanish format. In other words, another moot point on your part.
>And I hate it when these narrow minded hoods tell me to get Satellite, I DONT WANT IT, nor should I depend on it to hear what I want.
Making a blanket statement such as "narrow minded hoods" makes you sound narrow minded yourself. Sirius radio doesn't typically attract narrow minded folks, conversely, it tends to attract those of us who are the opposite of narrow minded. We seek many formats and choices, not the mundane sound of FM radio. Just because you don't think you should have to tune to satellite radio to hear what you want doesn't mean that you won't have to do just that. The landscape of the FM dial has changed, whether or not you accept it or not.
>These border jumpers come here and dictate what is to be put on the airwaves and the liberal suits oblige.
Not exactly. The border jumpers don't dictate anything to the liberal suits. The liberal suites only seize the opportunity to target a new audience in order to $ell their product(s). It's simple economics...supply and demand. You should be smarter than that.
>should these minorities have their way, when the White Race is the minority in 2050, will we get the whole dial back...fraid not.
One potential FM Spanish format in a city with a large population of hispanics hardly constitues the appropriation of the entire dial!
I understand your frustration and am also concerned with the changing face of America, but your fallacies were so obvious and apparent that I couldn't help myself.
